Description: Lutheran Care Center is seeking a skilled CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.
At this time we are looking for CNA's on evening shift (2:20 p.m. - 10:50 p.m.).
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) skills
• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy (“bedside manner”)
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations

Registered Nurse

Description: Lutheran Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team (10:45 pm - 7:15 am). We are looking for a highly compassionate RN who is comfortable communicating with family members and doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her residents. We offer a positive, upbeat work environment where all medical personnel work together for the good of the resident, and we hope you’ll want to join our compassionate team.
Registered Nurse (RN) skills:
• 3+ years’ nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric care facility
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required • Valid nursing license
• Advanced knowledge of EMRs
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Ability to explain treatments and conditions
• Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
